When we got home yesterday afternoon, we were ready to put up the Christmas tree and get into the the holiday spirit. I am Jewish and Greg is Christian, so Christmas is something still (fairly) new and exciting for me (especially the tree, it's so fun!), and I love decorating for the holiday.

Have you started decorating for the holidays yet? Watching holiday movies? How are you getting in the holiday spirit?

On Friday, I decided to get in the holiday spirit, too - and so I went out and bought a tree, ornaments, lights and stockings and started decorating our house while playing Christmas music - it was so fun!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,

Oh what fun! Do you celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah together? I love finding out about other traditions from countries around the world and other religions. It's so fun to incorporate those things.

Jenifer,
ReplyDeleteYes, we celebrate all the holidays, it makes for a very fun and festive year!
My bestie and her husband are similar to you and your hunny in the mixed holiday regard. They have compromised on the tree making it blue and white every year. It's always gorgeous. And who am I kidding, I live for her "latke-palooza!" ~Megan
