Banana Chocolate Chip Donuts (adapted from here)
1 large, very ripe banana, mashed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons plain greek yogurt
1 tablespoon milk
1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325. Grease your donut pan.
Mix together banana, sugar, yogurt, milk, butter, egg, and vanilla.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the banana combination. Mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for about 15 minutes, until golden brown, rotating the pan halfway through cooking.
